The provider is the data controller. E-CT Group processes care data on the provider's instructions, under a written data processing agreement.

Hosting

e-care247 is hosted in Amsterdam, in the European Economic Area, which UK data protection law recognises as adequate.

Access

Role-based permissions. Support workers see the people they are rostered to support. Family and commissioner access is granted and scoped by the provider.

Record history

Care plan and risk assessment versions are kept, never overwritten, so a reviewer can see what a plan said on any given date.

Formal certifications will be listed on this page, each with its reference, as they are achieved.

The provider. E-CT Group acts as data processor, on the provider's written instructions, under a data processing agreement.

Where is care data hosted?

e-care247 is hosted in Amsterdam, in the European Economic Area. UK data protection law recognises the EEA as adequate, so no extra transfer safeguards are needed.

Are you an NHS England assured Digital Social Care Records supplier?

Not yet. When we are, the listing and its reference will be shown on this page.

Do your products connect to NHS systems?

Not yet. Neither product currently exchanges data with NHS systems such as GP Connect. We will update this answer when that changes.

Can commissioners see the care they fund?

Yes, with the provider's agreement. The commissioner portal in e-care247 gives access to the records of the people you fund, and e-learn247's training matrix opens from a share link with no login.
